The Stare
Whenever you get to see a leopard, it's going to be a good day! Leopards are among the most elusive big cats in the world and the African Leopards are no different. When you see dust flying as you drive as fast as the little two tracks through the Serengeti will allow, you are probably on your way to see a Leopard. Nothing else requires the rush. Leopards are unique and rare and special and I am lucky enough to see more than I can even count, but this guy, this one was extra beautiful. His intense stare, his deep soulful eyes, his stature on top of the Kopje made it clear he was the ruler of his world. We sat with him for an hour or so until it was his nap time and we took off for another adventure.
