Splaash's Band
In the sage brush desert that is the McCullough Peaks Wild Horse Range, there are around 100 mustangs that live wild and run free! There are family dynamics that could not even be rivaled by even the best of 70's soap operas. They fight, they love, they run, they sleep, they explore, they survive Wyoming winters and desert summers, they are incredibly resilient and extremely TOUGH. One of the toughest stallions on the range is a big boy named Splaash (yes, two a's) and he keeps his ladies close by and dares any other stallion to come near them by his towering appearance and thick as a tank muscles. Splaash is the on the far left in this photo (red/white paint) and the rest of his band Juniper, Little Medicine, Junaliska, and Baldy (L to R) are standing proudly in the land they call home.
